Information about the position:
The curator will work within the team of twelve curators and researchers of the Rijksprentenkabinet, as well as with the museum’s curators, conservators, information specialists and registrars. The curator is responsible for the museum’s holdings of 20th- and 21st-century drawings and prints and is closely involved in all aspects of the scholarly research, publication and interpretation of works in this subject area.
For a number of years now, the Rijksmuseum’s policy has been focused on building up a representative overview of Dutch prints and drawings from the 20th and 21st century, thereby doing justice to the enormous variety of art production in this period. To this end, contacts are maintained with artists and their heirs, with collectors, galleries, and other institutions and museums, and an intensive acquisition policy is pursued. The curator plays a central role in all of these activities.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
The gross monthly salary will be commensurate with education and experience, from a minimum of €3.744 to a maximum of €5.214 (scale 12), for a full working week of 36 hours, excluding 8% holiday allowance and end-of-year benefits. The Museum CAO applies.
